Emily is passionate about all areas of family law and wills and estates, areas in which she completed her Applied Law Master’s Degree with the College of Law in 2022. She was recognised as the highest performing graduating Masters Student in Family Law and Wills, Estates and Trusts for Australia and New Zealand.
Emily completed her Law degree and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Social Policy & Criminology) at Victoria University of Wellington in 2005 and was admitted to the bar in 2012. She has worked with Inland Revenue Child Support advising on complex cases, seeking resolution where possible.
Emily understands the emotion that can go with family law and estate matters. She is dedicated to compassionately and clearly communicating high quality, thoughtful and thorough advice so all clients can be part in finding the best solution during challenging matters.
Spare time can be a bit of an anomaly when you have four school-aged children, but she enjoys spending time with her whānau and their many activities and hanging out with treasured friends when she can. She loves supporting the South Auckland community through being Chair of her local school board and involved with other not-for-profits, including her church.
